There’s been a bunch of stuff in the news about how someone got to blow up the factory where their father was killed and to be honest I didn’t find it newsworthy enough to explore further. But this morning I clicked on the story. The factory that was being blown up was the Campbell’s Soup Factory near Kings Lynn. I loved that place!
Not only was it, in my opinion architecturally wonderful and beautifully designed, it was also one of those landmarks that when driving back to Norwich when living in Hull, meant that I was nearly home.
I’m genuinely a bit sorry to see it go. But I’m sure that the Tesco Extra that will take it’s place with be architecturally unique too.
